A young girl named Ava did something so kind for a local animal shelter in Jackson. CARA is a no-kill animal shelter that has hundreds of animals for adoption.

She hosted a lemonade stand and donated all of her money to the shelter.

Ava and her family adopted a CARA dog years ago and wanted to give back to the shelter and thank them for everything they do.

Ava’s parents and grandparents matched the amount of money Ava raised at her lemonade stand.

CARA posted on Facebook saying,

“Ava, thank you so much for brightening our day with your wonderful donation. You have such a big heart and we are so touched you thought of the CARA pups.  And Mom and Dad, what an outstanding job you have done”
