The Tippah County Fair did the sweetest thing this year, and decided to invite Tippah County Nursing Home residents to enter art exhibits to be judged at the fair.
They decided to bring the fair to the residents as a way of honoring them and thanking them for past years that they served or worked in their younger years.
“We did something different this year and took things way back to who we remember as young people ourselves.”
The residents enjoyed working hard on their projects to enter. Most of them had been 4-H leaders, parents and grandparents and vital parts of the Tippah County Fair for many years in the past.
 
The fair said they are so thankful for their dedication and all that they did in past years.
The residents loved the blue ribbons but were most excited about the funnel cakes and homemade corndogs the fair workers brought them.
“We reminesced over the over the 25th and 50th Fairs and all those in between. What a legacy to celebrate at YOUR 78th Annual Tippah County Fair!
