The Mississippi Sheriff's Association brought pallets of clean water into the city of Jackson on Friday.

Several Mississippi Sheriffs were on hand today delivering dozens of pallets of water to the Hinds County Emergency Operations Center. The water drive was labeled “Pack the Truck,” and departments brought in water from all over the state.

Lincoln, Monroe, Montgomery, Lauderdale, Hinds, Clay, Calhoun, Bolivar, Tippah, Prentiss, Washington, Walthall, Union, Chickasaw, Benton, Lowndes, Tunica, Lafayette, Alcorn, and Kemper counties all took water donations before loading them up and bringing them to the capitol city to help with the current water crisis.
