The Jackson Fire Department made a surprise visit to the Methodist Children’s Home (MCH) this week, donating luggage to teens in group homes. Deputy Fire Chief Cleoth Sanders, Captain A. Harris, Lieutenant Q. Johnson, and Firefighter T. Collins from Engine 26 delivered the gifts.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support and kindness of the Jackson Fire Department,” said an MCH spokesperson.
The luggage will greatly benefit the teens, especially those transitioning between placements.
MCH thanked the fire department on social media.
“Thank you, Jackson Fire Department, for thinking of MCH! We are grateful for all that you do to keep the entire community safe.”
