A five-year-old in Brookhaven is setting the bar high when it comes to serving the community and showing love for the shelter animals!
On her fifth birthday party, Oakleigh decided to ask her guests to donate dog food and treats for Brookhaven Animal Rescue League to give out to the shelter animals waiting to find their forever homes.
She had a Dalmatian themed party and collected so many donations!
We need more people in the world like Oakleigh!
The shelter thanked her in a post on Facebook saying,
Oakleigh you are a thoughtful and kind hooman! The dogs send you nose boops and sloppy dog kisses. Happy Birthday and thank you Oakleigh!
