The Starkville Police Department arrested 49-year-old Donnell Jordan on Monday night on charges of domestic violence – aggravated assault.
Jordan is accused of strangling a female victim at an apartment located at 500 Louisville Street.
The victim was treated by medical personnel on the scene and released.
Jordan was transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail following the incident.
