On September 29, at 9:00 a.m., Officers responded to the Circle K gas station at 1630 Mississippi Valley Blvd. in reference to Counterfeit Money.
The manager stated that her night shift employee had received a counterfeit $100.00 bill.
Officers were able to obtain security footage that showed the suspect, a Hispanic male entering the store and purchasing 2 packs of Kool cigarettes and also pre-paid for $50.00 in gas with a counterfeit $100.00.
At this time, the Southaven Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect in this incident.
