Hutchinson had recently located to the Jackson area, where she has been staying with a male companion. Friends from the church said she had been married around July 4. She had shown photos from the ceremony before a judge and of the marriage license to a friend from Sunday School the following weekend, on Sunday, July 11.

“She seemed honestly happy with her life, and her marriage, and moving in with him,” said Bell Russell, a fellow church member.
