A heartbreaking image caught the attention of a good Samaritan doing a job on Baily Avenue in Jackson early Thursday morning.
The Good Samaritan/worker had been throwing trash into a dumpster and noticed a tiny puppy laying helplessly in the bottom of the dumpster amongst the trash.
The workers quickly got the puppy out of the dumpster and reached out to Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) in Jackson.
Shelter workers rushed the puppy to Huntcliff Vet in Clinton in hopes for it to survive.
Donations are being raised to help this poor puppy get the vet care it needs.
