Shaw Pitbull Rescue is a rescue in Columbus, Mississippi that helps pitbull and pitbull-mix dogs find a home.
They are having a book fundraiser and introducing a book called “Love in Every Lick: Pawsitively Pittyful” by Bailee Bee.
For every sale, $5 goes directly to supporting Shaw PBR.
The shelter posted on Facebook and said,
“It’s a delightful read for kids and makes for a perfect addition to those Christmas stockings!”
The author said she was inspired by her own pittie and created this book to show that these dogs are all about love, and people shouldn’t be afraid of them.
She said, “Let’s change the narrative about this amazing breed together!“
“The rescue is asking that everyone share their thoughts with a review on Amazon after they purchase the book.
Shaw Pitbull Rescue said the fundraiser runs from November 18th until December 10th.
