The search continues into day 8 for the body of a Hinds County woman who went missing, then her husband was arrested for her murder.
Ebony Owens is a mother of two who went missing, and her car was found burned.
Authorities believe that she was shot and killed, and possibly thrown off the Hwy 80 bridge after her car was found burned.
Thursday, March 23, the search continues along the Big Black River, which has dropped three feet in the last three days, according to Warren County EOC Director Warren County John Elfer.
Elfer said that this can cause more difficulty for boats going into the river to search.
There are multiple agencies on scene helping with the search for Ebony Owens.
Warren County EOC, Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Rankin County EOC, and Wildlife Fisheries and Parks are all assisting with the search.
