A man in Lauderdale County is dead after being struck by a vehicle, as reported by the Scotty Ray Report.
Lauderdale County Coroner Clayton Cobler confirmed that Greg Ford Jr., 32, of Meridian, was killed after crossing Highway 45 North just south of the Cefco gas station around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Scotty Ray reports that Ford is believed to have dropped his cell phone and came back to pick it up and was hit by a northbound vehicle.
Ford was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
