Pontotoc County woman arrested after alleged possession of crack cocaine

The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a woman on drug charges.

According to investigators, the Patrol Division of the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department recently was conducting daytime narcotics operations in the northeast section of Pontotoc County, when the Patrol Division was dispatched to Tuscumbia Road in Pontotoc County to check on a female who had stopped in the road and was slumped over and unresponsive.

Amanda Sue Hill, 31, of Blue Springs, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and numerous misdemeanor offense after she was found allegedly in possession of crack cocaine.

Hill was booked in to the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department Adult Detention Center. She was charged with felony possession of a controlled Substance. A Pontotoc County Justice Court Judge set bond at $7,500.
