On February 18, Pike County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division conducted a safety checkpoint on Johnson Station Road.
When officers made contact with the driver, they identified him as Jaffrey Crossley. Deputies observed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
A search was conducted and deputies found 98 grams of marijuana, 1 dosage unit of MDMA (Ecstasy), paraphernalia, and packing material.
Crossley was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute or Sell, Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia. His bond was set at $50,000.00.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
