The Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine is excited to announce the opening of the Pediatric Urgent Care by MCAM.
The Pediatric Urgent Care is located in the Belhaven building at 1200 North State Street, Suite 180 in Jackson, across the street from Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. The clinic serves all patients who are 19 and younger and accepts Medicaid, CHIP, all forms of commercial insurance and self-pay patients.
The clinic is staffed exclusively by board certified general pediatricians and is open 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Friday and from 12 PM to 8 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. The Pediatric Urgent Care is also open on all holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
Clinic staff readily communicates with the child’s primary care provider to keep them updated on the care provided at the urgent care. Children who need hospital admission will be admitted to Baptist where MCAM’s pediatric hospitalists will care for them on the pediatric floor.
