Pedestrian dies of injuries after being hit by a classic car at Cruisin’ The Coast

Police say a pedestrian has died after being hit by a classic car during Cruisin’ The Coast.

According to Biloxi Police Department, the car was doing a burnout on U.S. 90 near Raynoir Street. The pedestrian was crossing the highway and when the light changed, the ’67 Chevrolet Chevelle hit the pedestrian, police said.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where they died of their injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of the next of kin.
