On Friday, March 10, The Mississippi Department of Corrections went to an address on Blue Bird Rd. Carriere MS.

The home belonged to Nicole Evans, and officers were called to conduct a Residence Check due to Evans being screened to be placed on house arrest.

During the check, agents located suspected narcotics. The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office and Narcotics Investigators were called to the home. A search warrant was executed, and Narcotics Investigators recovered a trafficking amount of methamphetamine and cocaine.

Evans was transported to the Pearl River County Criminal Justice Facility where she was booked for trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of cocaine.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law
