Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department and Picayune Police Department are asking the public for help in locating Amanti Briscoe. Police say he is from the Picayune area.

Briscoe is wanted by Pearl River Co. SO for Attempted Murder, and by Picayune Police for two counts of Grand Larceny and one count of Petit Larceny.

The Attempted Murder charge stems from a shooting that occurred on June 7. Authorities say Briscoe fired at least eight shots into a building where families live.

He is considered armed and dangerous.
