Pearl River County Sheriff makes arrests on meth trafficking, stolen property

On Friday, 5 May 2023, The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the Carriere home of Timothy Mitchell.

A trafficking amount of methamphetamine was recovered from the property along with three stolen vehicles and a stolen food trailer.

Timothy Mitchell was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine along with Darlene Mitchell. Mitchell was also found to be in possession of a type of weapon he’s not allowed to possess.

Jeremy Stogner was on scene during the execution of the warrant and was found to be in possession of one of the stolen vehicles.

James Collier was arrested for possession of paraphernalia.

Charges are as follows:

Timothy Mitchell (59) Trafficking a schedule II dangerous and controlled substance, Possession of a weapon after being convicted of a felony, 3 counts of receiving stolen property.

Darlene Mitchell (60) Trafficking a schedule II dangerous and controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia.

Jeremy Stogner (48) Receiving stolen property.

James Collier (63) Possession of paraphernalia.
