Pearl Police officers arrested an armed robbery suspect out of Alabama on Tuesday evening.
Man wanted for armed robbery out of AlabamaOfficers found and arrested Douglas York at a hotel in Pearl. York was wanted out of Columbiana Alabama.
Officers found his vehicle in the Econolodge parking lot and through an investigation with the hotel, they determined his room number.
When officers knocked on the door, York’s girlfriend came out and confirmed he was in the room.
Investigators entered the room and took York into custody. He is now being held at the Rankin County Detention Center and is awaiting extradition back to Shelby County in Alabama.
