On June 11, the Oxford Police Department was alerted by authorities in another state about an individual who had contacted a minor over social media, sending sexually explicit videos and pictures.

The investigation identified the suspect as 25-year-old Trevyon Terez Thomas, of Oxford. A warrant for his arrest was issued the following day.

On August 2, Thomas turned himself into investigators at the Oxford Police Department.

He has been charged with Enticement of a Child to Produce Visual Depiction of Sexual Conduct. His bond was set by the Municipal Court Judge.

The Oxford Police Department thanked Homeland Security Investigations and the Warren County (MS) Sheriff’s Department for their help with the case.
