On Saturday, at 8:00 a.m., Jackson police precinct officers responded to Dorgan Street about a brown KIA SUV.
They learned from the complainant that the SUV was stolen from her home.
At approximately 11:00 am Saturday, JPD Precinct 1 Officers were dispatched to 2718 Benwood Drive regarding a vehicle accident with injuries.
When officers arrived they found three black male juveniles lying on the ground near a brown KIA SUV. The vehicle was identified as the one stolen from Dorgan Street. All three juveniles sustained injuries from the accident.
All three were transported to the UMMC by AMR. Two of the juveniles were transported to the hospital for complaints of back pain. The third juvenile appeared unresponsive at the scene and was discovered to have succumbed to his injuries.
