One Person Killed In Head-On Collision in Claiborne County

According to Vicksburg News, one person was killed in a head-on collision on Tuesday.

The crash happened at 11:54 a.m. and Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the crash on Highway 61 near Port Gibson in Claiborne County.

A Toyota Camry driven by 64-year-old Isaac P. Colenberg Sr. of Fayette, MS, traveled south on Highway 61 and collided head-on with a northbound Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Mr. Colenberg died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the F-150 was transported to Merit Health Hospital in Vicksburg with non-life-threatening injuries.

This crash is being investigated by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
