On Wednesday, October 12, at approximately 9:00 PM, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Interstate 59 in Jones County.

According to MHP, a 1994 Ford L-Series driven by 65-year-old Guillermo Rodriguez of Miami, Florida, driving south on Interstate 59 when the vehicle collided with a concrete barrier and overturned.

Guillermo Rodriguez received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol
