One Killed After Box Truck And Semi-Truck Collide In Hancock County

On Wednesday, July 12, at approximately 11:15 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Interstate 10 in Hancock County.

A 2021 Isuzu Box Truck driven by 28-year-old Codie Beasley of Vancleave, MS, was traveling west on Interstate 10 when it collided with a 2023 Volvo Semi-Truck driven by 51-year-old Christopher McFarland of Greenville, NC, also traveling west.

Codie Beasley died from his injuries in the hospital on July 13.

This crash is being investigated by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
