According to the Vicksburg Daily News, a woman is in custody after someone was fatally stabbed at a Vicksburg motel.
The VDN reports that first responders were called to a stabbing Tuesday morning at Motel 6 on Frontage Road. Responders said a woman had barricaded herself in one of the rooms and someone had been stabbed.
Vicksburg police reportedly had the suspect in custody shortly.
Medics on the scene were unable to save the person who was stabbed. No identity has been released so far.
