A woman who collapsed by her car at a gym in Natchez Tuesday has died, leaving officials “perplexed” about her cause of death.
According to the Natchez Democrat, Keydra McGee, 45, was in the parking lot of a fitness center off of U.S. 61 North in Natchez when other patrons saw her collapse. Natchez Police Chief Cal Green told the Democrat that she was taken to Merit Health Natchez. Adams County Coroner James Lee reportedly got the call around 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Lee said McGee’s body is being sent to the state crime lab for autopsy.
