Napoleon Edwards pleads not guilty in fatal shooting of Bobby Davis

According to WJTV, a local social media and radio personality accused of killing a community activist has pleaded not guilty to his murder.

William “Polo” Napoleon Edwards is accused in the death of Better Society Founder Bobby Davis. Heappeared in court on Tuesday after being indicted for murder and felon in possession of a firearm in late August.

Davis was killed inside a home in Clinton on May 1. Witnesses identified Edwards as the suspect to the police. He was arrested in New Orleans two days later and was charged with first degree murder.

Edwards had been convicted of possession of cocaine in 1996 and false pretense in 1997.
