A few isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible north of Interstate 20 this morning, with better chances for showers and storms south of Interstate 20 this afternoon. As a weak cold front has moved through the area, afternoon high temperatures are expected to range from the mid to upper 80s at most locations.
A shower or thunderstorm may linger into the early evening in far southeast Mississippi, but drier air should be moving into most of the forecast area by tonight. Overnight low temperatures are expected to be in the lower to mid 60s across the area.
