A shelter in Hattiesburg called Southern Pines Animal Shelter is scrambling to raise funds after a water pipe busted.
When the shelter staff arrived at the shelter this morning they saw that a water pipe was leaking.
“With our resources already stretched thin, this extremely critical repair is making some tough times even more difficult for our shelter.”
A plumber was immediately called and has been working to fix the issue before more damage is done.
Southern Pines said, “While we don’t have an estimate on how much this repair will be yet, any amount donated that exceeds the cost of repair will go toward animal care expenses.”
This shelter helps thousands of animals a year. They do so much for the community. Even $5 would make a huge difference in this situation for Southern Pines.
