The Mississippi Animal Rescue League (MARL) is urgently asking for donations as they face a critical shortage of dry puppy and kitten food.

The shelter relies on community support to care for its animals. They posted on Facebook saying they are down to the last bag of food purchased last week.

MARL is specifically requesting donations of dry dog food, particularly Purina or Pedigree brands, to help feed the many animals in their care. Those who are not local can still help by making an online donation through MARL’s website, Venmo, or by purchasing items from their Amazon Wishlist, Walmart, or Chewy links.

Monetary donations can be made online at MARL’s donation page or by mailing a check to 5221 Greenway Drive Ext., Jackson, MS 39204.
