The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has activated a Missing/Endangered Person Alert on behalf of Jackson Police Department in the search for a child who went missing on Tuesday.
Jaylan Smith is 9 years old, stands 4’7″ tall, and weighs 65 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 3100 block of Charleston Drive, wearing a blue shirt and shorts.
Family members say Jaylan has a medical condition that could impair his judgement.
