On Saturday, December 16, at around 5:30 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 49 in Stone County.

A 2007 Volkswagen passenger vehicle driven by 71-year-old Patrick Kilduff of Perkinston traveled north on Highway 49 when it collided with a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by 52-year-old Tracy Elaine Davis and passenger, 60-year-old Felicia Martin, both of Gulfport, as it entered Highway 49 from Beaver Dam Road.

Felicia Martin received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
