McComb Man Arrested After Stealing Car From Jackson, Leading Officers On Chase

On March 22, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Mississippi Capitol Police regarding a 2018 Dodge Charger that had been stolen from their jurisdiction.
Pike County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate the stolen vehicle while it was in the parking lot of Applebee’s on Apache Dr. in McComb.
While Deputies observed the vehicle a black male later identified as 21-year-old Quardavion Tyrion White, of McComb, was seen getting into the vehicle.
At that time Pike County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to make contact with Quardavion White.
Quardavion White upon recognizing Deputies fled on foot across Interstate 55 and into surrounding woods.
After a lengthy foot chase, Quardavion White was taken into custody in a wooded area near Veterans Blvd. and Deelani Ct.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank McComb Police Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and Mississippi Department of Transportation Enforcement for there assistance in the apprehension and arrest of Quardavion White.
Quardavion White has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute Enhanced with a Firearm, and Possession Of Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute. No bond has been set for these charges at this time.
White was previously out on bond for the following charges: Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell and Possession Sale or Transfer of Stolen Firearm with a $10,000 bond.
He is currently out on an $800,000 bond with ankle monitor in Louisiana, Washington Parish for 2nd Degree Murder.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law.
