On February 6, Deputy Dennis Peeks took a report in reference to stolen tin, two four-wheelers, tires, and rims being stolen from the complainant’s property off Highway 366.
The items stolen were valued at over $1,000.00. The complainant signed an affidavit on the suspect and a warrant was issued.
Investigators Torie Jumper and Jason Chism conducted the investigation which lead to the recovery of the four-wheelers.
36-year-old Joey Andrew McCarley of Marietta was charged with Grand Larceny. His bond was set at $20,000.00.
The case will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
