JPD is actively searching for a man who is wanted in connection with the death of an unborn baby.
Public Information Officer Sam Brown from the JPD told reporter Erin Pickens that a 21-year-old pregnant woman was dropped off at a hospital earlier this month after being beaten.
The unborn baby died on June 16 and it was ruled a homicide.
Jackson Police have identified the suspect as Christopher Thompson. There have been warrants issued for his arrest.
