On March 11, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office received a call in reference to shots fired on Harrison Dr.
When deputies arrived, they found a white male deceased in front of some camper trailers at 1000 Harrison Drive.
Deputies found a man named Bennie Rimes at the location.
The victim was identified as Claude “Bo” Rimes, Bennies’s brother.
During the investigation, it was learned that Bennie and Claude had an argument where gunfire was exchanged.
60-year-old Bennie Rimes, of McComb, was arrested and booked into the Pike County Jail on Second Degree Murder with no bond.
On March 15, bond was set at $50,000 for Bennie. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a Court of Law.
