A man is in critical condition after an ATV collision on Summerland Road in Jones County.
Calhoun, Pleasant Ridge, and Hebron volunteer fire departments responded to the wreck around 10:45 p.m. on December 31.
When firefighters arrived, they found a male adult with critical injuries after he had been ejected from the vehicle.
The four-wheeler had been traveling on Summerland Road and was found lying on its side in the ditch.
First Responders learned that there was a second person who was also involved but he left on foot.
It is unknown if this person was injured in the crash.
Emserv Ambulance Service treated and transported the critically injured adult to the emergency department.
Jones County Sheriff’s Department was also on scene.
