A Petal man has been arrested and charged with Kidnapping and Aggravated Domestic Violence in reference to a shooting that happened on Valentine’s Day.
On Wednesday, February 14, Forrest County deputies responded to the 400 block of Batson Road, Petal, in reference to a shooting. The preliminary investigation has resulted in enough probable cause to move forward with criminal charges against Shawn Adams, 48, of Petal, for his involvement in the incident, officials said.
“We understand the public’s interest in this matter, and we are committed to transparency,” the release stated. “FCSO remains committed to thoroughly investigating any incident that occurs and ensuring that reports released are as accurate as possible.”
