On November 28, The Pike County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Dollar General on Hwy 44 East in Pricedale in reference to a shoplifter.
Surveillance footage shows a white male wearing a hoodie and sweatpants walking into the store. He then begins stuffing laundry detergent pods into his pants.
An employee confronts the suspect, who runs out of the store.
The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Donovan Sandifer, of Summit in Walthall County.
Source: Pike Co. SOSandifer had previously been arrested at the same store for shoplifting in February 2022. He was ordered not to return to the store by the court.
Walthall County authorities arrested Sandifer on November 29th. He was transported to the Pike County Jail and booked with Trespassing and Shoplifting.
No bond has been set at this time.
