The City of Madison has a beautiful Christmas tree with flags that carry Christmas gift wishes of veterans in the community.
There are still a few flags left that need someone to sponsor them.
Amanda Houck from Heart of Hospice and Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler are leading the charge to make this season extra special for the deserving veterans in Madison.
Here’s how you can get involved:
1. Swing by City Hall and pick up a flag with a veteran’s gift request.
2. Fulfill the wish and return the gifts to City Hall by December 15th.
3. Let’s make this holiday season unforgettable for those who have served and sacrificed for our country!
