Jurassic Quest Comes to Jackson During 10th Anniversary Year

Dinosaurs of all kinds and species attracted thousands to the Jackson Convention Complex for Jurassic Quest over the weekend.

Upon entering the gates of the exhibit, guests were greeted by the Giganotosaurus and Triceratops followed by a wide variety of dinosaur models and animatronics.

“One of my favorite things to do is go to the pillars when they first walk in,” said Park Ranger Marty. “The kids’ faces light up and jaws drop when they see their first giant dinosaur. It just sets you in the mood for a good day.”

There were also multiple children’s activities including rides, inflatables, crafts, a fossil dig and even meet and greets with baby dinosaurs.

Anna Bess and Tyler Fuller of Jackson walked through the exhibit hall with their two sons William and Sam who were in awe of the prehistoric creatures.

“He (Sam) just squeals. He’s one. This one (William) takes it all in smiling. He wants to do that, that and that. He also wants to climb everything he can,” said Anna Bess Fuller.

The event is currently celebrating ten years of travelling to dozens of cities across the country.
