On Sunday, April 21, the Jackson Police Department began investigating a carjacking that occurred in the 2000 block of Raymond Rd. Detectives learned that the victim was carjacked at this location and her white 2023 Chysler 300 tag number HNW 2617 was stolen.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark pants. The suspect has possibly changed the tag on the vehicle.
On Tuesday, the vehicle was located and recovered by JPD. It was not occupied at the time it was recovered from 2119 Wandering Way. No suspect has been arrested at this time. JPD will continue its investigation of this case.
