Jones County Sheriff’s Department deputies captured murder suspect Marty Breazeale in a pine thicket overnight after responding to a suspicious person complaint near Bok Homa casino.

Breazeale is now incarcerated in the Jones County Adult Detention Facility pending his initial appearance in Jones County Justice Court.

Sheriff Joe Berlin released in a statement, “We cannot say thanks enough to the many agencies and individuals who responded to assist us with this manhunt for Marty Breazeale. He will now face the justice for the heinous crime he is accused of committing.”
