South Front Street:
While Glade and M & M VFDs were battling the structure fire on Masonite Lake Road, shortly after 5:30 am another call came in for a structure fire at 910 South Front Street in Sandersville.  Sandersville, Sharon, and Rustin volunteer fire departments responded to this scene.  On arrival of the first responding fire apparatus, firefighters found a brick home with heavy flames from the back side of the home.
Firefighters immediately worked to extinguish the blaze.  While much of the outside of the home was spared, the inside received significant damage, along with the rear of the home.  The home was unoccupied at the time.  No injuries were reported.
JCSO and Sandersville PD also responded.  The blaze was deemed suspicious and JCSO will be investigating the incident.
