The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook how thankful they are for a recent donation of weapons and magazines from the Department of Justice (DOJ) Special Agents of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Georgia and New York.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the new equipment will greatly enhance the safety and security of deputies and officers, providing them with the necessary tools to combat crime and respond to emergencies effectively.
“This act of kindness and support from the DOJ Special Agents has profoundly impacted our ability to serve Jefferson County,” said a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office. “We are incredibly grateful for this blessing, as it empowers our team to carry out their duties confidently and professionally.”
