A man is dead and police are searching for suspects in a shooting Thursday morning in the capitol city.

According to Jackson Police Department spokesman Sam Brown, Tar’Kevion McGee was being dropped off at work at 1201 University Boulevard whe he was shot. He died on the scene.

Police say two suspects were seen getting out of a light-colored SUV, then opening fire on the victim. They fled north on University Boulevard.
