The Jackson Police Department will be out in full force, according to a release Tuesday.
They will be out “this holiday season to give you a safe shopping experience in our city,” the release states.
Officers are closely monitoring and patrolling shopping areas and neighborhoods throughout the city to make sure the citizens are safe.
“It takes all of us to make a safe city,” said Chief James Davis. “If you see something, say something.”
