Jackson Man Wanted For Allegedly Scamming People Selling Vehicles On Facebook Marketplace

On or about Sunday, January 7, the Jackson Police Department began investigating a False Pretense, Uttering Forgery, and Embezzlement of Auto that happened through Facebook Marketplace.

Detectives learned that several victims’ had sold vehicles on this app and discovered later that the checks they were given were fraudulent.

Arrest warrants were issued for a man named Davarious Harris for False Pretense.

The warrants are for False Pretense, Uttering Forgery, and Embezzlement of Auto in connection to these incidents.
