A Jackson man is in critical condition after a fight turned into a shooting around lunchtime today.
WLBT reports that the around 12:40 p.m., a fight broke out and then a young man was shot.
The shooting happened at a home on Raymond Road near Ellis Avenue.
JPD said they were called about a gunshot victim and responded to find a young man as the victim.
Chief Joseph Wade told WLBT that there was some type of fight then several people left and then returned to finish the fight. This was what led to the man being shot.
